Move the map so the circle sits on it. No pin-dragging. Photograph and pin from the footpath or a safe spot - never step into the road for a closer shot.

How this ward was identified
Ward identified on this device from official boundary data - jurisdiction, not proved road ownership.

How a pothole gets fixed
General guidance, not a site-specific specification. The right method depends on the road.
Tar road (asphalt) 1. Clear loose debris, dust and water. 2. Square-cut the edges so the patch holds. 3. Apply a tack coat (bitumen emulsion). 4. Fill in layers with hot or cold mix, jelly included as graded aggregate. 5. Compact each layer, seal the edges.
Cement road (concrete / white-topped) 1. Clean and roughen the cavity. 2. Apply bonding agent. 3. Patch with concrete mix, finish level. 4. Cure before traffic.
Mud road (unpaved) 1. Regrade the surface. 2. Add gravel or jelly, compact. 3. Restore drainage so water does not pool again.
Report it officially
Corporation from official ward boundaries - exact road owner unconfirmed. These are the official complaint channels (verified against BBMP/GBA pages, Oct 2026):
We never file for you. Ward = geographic jurisdiction, not confirmed road ownership.
Size estimates, honestly
One photo gives no dimensions. A reference object flat on the same road plane can calibrate width and length once checks pass; depth stays an estimate. Nothing here is measured yet - when a number is ever shown, it will say how it was produced.

About Gundi
Reports stay in this browser unless you post or sync them: turn on optional private sync below, or post a pin to the public map (each report asks separately; public pins never include your photo). No account, no live link to any authority. Map: OpenFreeMap positron style. Ward outlines: GBA ward delimitation (Dec 2025), public domain, via OpenCity. Why this exists
Private sync (optional)
Off by default. On = new reports and photos upload to your private sync store. Posting a pin to the public map is a separate per-report choice and stays optional whether sync is on or off. A random key is generated on this device and is sent only as a private header to your own store. Only someone holding that key can read, add to or delete your synced reports through the service - treat it like a password, keep it secret and never post it in chats or share it publicly. The store itself runs on Cloudflare under their standard terms. Save the key somewhere safe if you want access from another browser: if this browser's storage is cleared and the key is lost, the cloud copy becomes unreachable. Reports already on this device upload only if you choose "Upload existing reports" below.
Sync is off. Everything stays on this device.
This key is the only way to reach your private store from another browser. Anyone holding it can read, add to or delete your synced reports - keep it secret, never post it in chats or share it publicly.

From reports on your device plus public pins you can see - not a city inventory.
Size and material numbers are rough estimates from a box-shaped assumption, never measurements from your photo. The fill animation is an illustration, not engineering. Severity is the reporter's judgement. Fixed means a resident marked it, not an official repair confirmation. A ward match shows jurisdiction from official boundaries, not proved road ownership. Representatives do not manage road repairs and are not road owners. Public pins never carry an account, name or photo, but an exact public spot can still point to a place you were.
